Suspect Nabbed After Man Stabbed Outside Long Island 7-Eleven

A suspect has been apprehended after a man was stabbed in the head in the parking lot of a Long Island convenience store.

It happened around 9 p.m. Sunday, April 25 in Greenlawn.

A man was sitting in the driver’s seat of his vehicle in the parking lot of 7-Eleven, located at 247 Broadway when he was approached by three men, Suffolk County Police said.

One of the men, Raheem Miller, age 41, stabbed the victim in the head, according to police.

Miller and the other two men fled before police officers arrived at the scene.

The victim, a 44-year-old Huntington Station man, was transported to South Shore University Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Second Precinct police officers located and arrested Miller a short time later at his home, located at 98 Little Plains Road in Greenlawn.

Second Squad detectives charged Miller with second-degree assault. 

He was held overnight at the Second Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Monday, April 26.

The investigation is continuing.
